Berenice Hernandez's studio is nestled between the cool mountains and stifling desert heat of Monterrey in northern Mexico. She draws inspiration from her surroundings to create artwork with vibrancy and color.
With a background in art direction and graphic design, she combines her knowledge with themes from her Mexican heritage. Botany is at the heart of her work, brought to life through a mix of illustration, engraving, painting and textile techniques. The results are abstracted, bold plants and flowers, always presented with a graphic touch.
