Fabio Almeida combines references from architecture, design and art history to create large-format collages from a variety of materials, including painted and found paper, marker, bleach and letraset.
His playful compositions are imbued with a sense of nostalgia, and his colour palette, shapes and materials allude to a bygone era of modern optimism, but are also influenced by the reality of contemporary life.
