Wooden Doll No.4' by Vitra

What are those sugar-sweet figures that smile at us so secretly from the shelf?

The 'Wooden Dolls' were first designed by the famous designer Alexander Girard for his own home in Santa Fe in 1952. The sometimes cheerful, sometimes grim faces of the figures were as enthusiastic at that time as they are today, which is why 'Vitra' included them in their famous collection. As in the past, every single doll is handmade and painted. So every Wooden Doll is unique.

As a small, charming enrichment in the interior, the 'Dolls' set accents and look great together with other figures from the family.

Alexander Girard was intensively involved with different folk arts during his work and often found a source of inspiration in them.

For moms, dads and design lovers.
