Actually, 'Ultrafragola' is not only a mirror, but also a lamp. Namely, its sinuous profile, reminiscent of long, wavy hair, can glow.
The great piece belongs to the Mobili Grigi series of complete bedroom and living room furnishings designed by Ettore Sottsass for the Poltronova label. Only 'Ultrafragola' made it past the prototype stage.
A fantastic eye-catcher, no matter where you put this object: In the hallway, the mystical light wafts towards you as if a new world awaits you behind it. In the bedroom it is your portal to a dream world and in the living room it replaces every picture on the wall.
