Danish design specialist New Works has made it their mission to reduce design to the essentials, with simplicity and function.
The Rise & Shine wall mirror is no exception. It makes use of concise, bold shapes with an asymmetrical composition, evoking a mechanical wall clock or a rising sun.
Designed by Amy Hunting and Oscar Narud, who always work with the most exquisite materials, it comes in high-quality oak wood and solid brass, spreading a very elegant atmosphere in any room.
Super beautiful in the bedroom or living room, but the object mirror also fits into the office or a boutique hotel.
The clever functionality is also impressive: the wooden center point serves as a wall mount as well as it also allows the mirror and the brass pendulum to pull and push each other.
In this way, the round glass mirror creates an ever-changing point of reflection. It hangs from a cord that is wrapped around the wall mount. The pendulum serves as a counterweight, which, by the way, is also optionally available in steel.
