The Flensted-Mobiles fairy tale is actually based on two straws and three paper storks. Because that's what Christian Flensted cut out and put together in 1953, when the baptism of his daughter Mette was to be celebrated. The result was the Stork Mobile, which was really only intended as a fun, ingenious and personal gift, but eventually became the prelude to Flensted Mobiles.
Today, Flensted Mobiles have a cult following. Their classic, designed allure just always fits and adds movement and style to a room.
The 'Angel Mobile' is my personal highlight: a beautiful and traditional Christmas mobile with six white angels that have a purisitic graphic allure.
