New to 'Audo' is the table lamp called 'Reverse'. A novel lighting solution that underscores the omnipresent beauty of natural materials.
In his search for simple and clever solutions in any room, Danish designer Aleksandar Lazic took Italian marble tables from the 1970s as his inspiration for the Reverse Lamp. Inspired by the play with structure created by geometrical constraints, the conical travertine base and the curved, bronzed aluminium shade define the perfectly balanced expression of the lamp.
The light spreads evenly over the unworked stone, which has been left raw so that the light highlights its natural imperfections and reveals shadows and a fascinating play of colours that seems to emanate from the base itself. A twilight switch for adjusting the intensity of the light is located at the exact point where the shadow and the base meet.
Equipped with a dimmable to warm LED light source, the Reverse Lamp projects warm light onto a bedside table or dimmed light onto a cabinet surface.
