The Cocktail 'Zurich Negroni'

For all those who like to drink, but don't like to mix, I have a stylish and very digestible solution from today. It was devised by two professionals from Zurich's Central Bar, who have joined forces to create the label The Cocktail.

The Cocktail' develops favourite drinks - a mixture of classics and own creations - premixed and bottled with the best ingredients. For you this means: No more tiresome searching for ingredients and no more opened bottles that lead a dreary existence at home. Instead, it means ready-to-drink drinks, ready to drink in the right quantity.

The 'Zürich Negroni' is a derivation of the well-known classic. Here, spirits from Zurich mix with a friendly summer Negroni. The gin comes from the well-known Turicum Distillery. For the vermouth, white vermouth from the two Zurichers Marius Frehner and Kaspar Fenkart is used. The original recipe for bitter comes from Gustav Erdmann Weisflog, who had a practice for stomach problems in Altstetten. Weisflog was invented and first produced there around 1870.

Add the appropriate accessories to the fine drink and your living room becomes the Bar Centrale.

Tasting notes

A fresh summery Negroni with restrained bitter notes.

Serving Suggestion

Pour the Negroni in a tumbler over some ice cubes and stir. Then sprinkle with orange zest. Who is quite crazy, can even still spray with some tonic. Is otherwise rather unusual, but tastes great!
