Corky' is a carafe for water and wine and a bottle for milk or juice. The idea behind Andreas Engesvik's design is to create a simple and familiar form, rounded off by an oversized design.
An archetypal bottle was the basis for the design of 'Corky'. The linear form is completed by the combination of glass and cork materials. Graceful and familiar in appearance, 'Corky' has a striking detail: an oversized cork cap sits on top of the wide bottle neck.
The cork ball closes the bottle, is light and pleasant to grasp and at the same time the element that gives the carafe its unmistakable appearance.
