I'm really excited about my new discovery: the French label Tiptoe has made it its mission to create well-designed and well-produced sustainable furniture. In line with this goal of reuse and recycling, the company has therefore chosen to use recycled oak wood for this collection of tables.
The top of the Versailles coffee table is made in Europe using the traditional manual method of assembling the Versailles parquet. 'Tiptoe' uses old and recycled solid oak to make each top unique. The wood is dried and then the boards are assembled by hand and varnished to last a lifetime.
By the way, I love the combination of old and new. The new element is the table legs, which are made of metal and simply cling to the table top. They are available in different colors and give the table a neat industrial charm.
