To this day, the designs of Danish designer Finn Juhl are unconventional and defy expectations with subtle details. This is also true for his 108 Chair, which at first glance looks like an ordinary dining room chair. A closer look reveals surprising details such as angled side rails and sliding crossbars. These details bring unexpected movement and dynamism to the design.
Finn Juhl's philosophy of separating supported and load-bearing elements to create space is evident in this chair. Although it is both upholstered and very comfortable, the '108 Chair' manages to retain its lightness and looks beautiful from all angles.
