Children's book 'The sloth in the pop-up forest'

The sloth is comfortable as we humans are: Only when it's almost too late does it realize that the rainforest is being cut down. Fortunately, forest - here at least - can grow back, and the children can search again on the last page where the sloth has hidden.

A pop-up and search picture book at its best - and with a message. The sloth hangs from its tree in the rainforest and swings in the wind. It is still rocking as huge steel machines begin to rip the trees out of the ground at the edge of the jungle, and it is still rocking as the machines are very close.

But with the last tree the sloth disappears. Everything has become dull, but then a human decides to sow new trees again. Pop! the little plants shoot out of the ground. They get bigger and bigger, and soon the sloth is back.

The Sloth in the Pop-up Forest' is printed with environmentally friendly soy ink and on paper from sustainable forestry.
