But now the likeable Shruti Patel with roots in Kenya and a studio in Zurich provides us with a sweet jewelry box. In it you can supply all your beautiful finger rings, bracelets and necklaces - in different sized compartments. Every single box is unique and is carefully handmade in Kenya. They are made of unicoloured leather and surprise with a colourful cotton fabric inside.
Around 30 employees in Kenya process the beautiful products for 'Savannah Chic' in Fairtrade certified workshops. The distinctive Afro-inspired jewellery and accessories of 'Savannah Chic' thus make an active positive contribution to Kenya's unemployment and support people with physical disabilities and women with HIV/AIDS.
